In the personal interview that I had with Ricardo, I asked him to write everything that he believed that could help it, I also advised him, that I do not all have the economic resources to help him with all his needs but, with the help of friends, we will help him as much as is possible.
RICARDO'S LETTER.

I am sending you this letter in order to let you know you a list of my needs; an orthopedic bed with mattress that wouldn't give me scars or wound, a teusiometro with his own stethoscope. A wheelchair with air tires, as we talk about it.
As I explained to you before, I have no sensibility in my lover part of my body therefore I'm suffering of several gastric problems, given me a lot of discomfort due to the fact that I go irregularity to sanitary service. I else, have no control in my urination, I need a urinary bag with his respective urodit that I can attached on my leg,
I am very badly of the vesicle, a doctor is evaluating if there is a need of having a surgery but, my case is complicated do to the bronchial asthma which I have been suffering since 10 years ago. I need a portable nebulizer. If you can, I need you to search for me, a non-profit orthopedists of the United States or any other country that come to Nicaragua to carry out hip and knee operations, since I do not have my left hip, (it was removed from me in 1984) and since that time, I have not been able to obtain a prosthesis.
I am suffering of anquilosis problems in my knees which need a reconstructive surgery to recover the mobility of both knees.
I have two Dreams: the first one is to have small solar panel which I can install it in a little house of my parents, located far from the city zone which has no electric, and I can be able to expend some time, and get some pure fresh air in to my lungs, also, the same solar panel will generate enough electricity, to install a little refrigerator that I could be use to sell carbonated water, ice creams etc.
The second dream is to have a taxi-motorcycle send it to work with my brother so I will be able to have some income to help in my expenses.
My clinical record is the following one: I Was injured by firearm caliber 45, which I cause me central wounds, the same bullet crossed both lungs leaving me parapléjico and without sensibility in the half of my body.
